Probleme mit MailTags?

Apple Mail ist eigentlich ein nettes Programm, wenn es nicht hin und wieder mal durch Abstürze auf sich aufmerksam machen würde. In meinem Fall schien es am MailTags-Bundle gelegen zu haben. Ein Update auf Version 1.2.2 sollte generelle Abstürze vermeiden, zumindest laut Packungsbeilage.Das console.log zeigte allerdings weiterhin folgendes:

    The parser will retry as in 10.2, but the problem should be corrected in the plist.

Eine Inspektion des German.lproj Ordners ergab daraufhin, dass die Übersetzungsdatei MailTagsStrings.strings nicht UTF-8 kodiert war, sondern Western (Mac OS Roman).Wenn man nun die Datei mit Textmate oder Xcode öffnet, die Dateikodierung auf UTF-8 ändert, sie speichert und Mail.app neu startet, dann ist das Problem behoben.Technorati Tags: apple, mail, mailtags, encoding, utf8, plist, parser
